Since this page is currently short on basic details for this product, I'll start with this:After two years in development, Japanese artist toy company PRESSPOP GALLERY have now unveiled their new Raymond Scott 100th Anniversary vinyl figurine & CD set. The deluxe limited edition package, designed by renowned musician & artist, ARCHER PREWITT (Coctails/The Sea & Cake), & developed in association with JEFF WINNER (The Raymond Scott Archives), features a miniature replica of Scott's Clavivox, his patented 1950s keyboard synthesizer invention, & includes an exclusive CD collection with rare, unreleased tracks from the RS Archives. Presspop have produced only a small batch of these unique high-quality sets, so order now (Presspop's BOB MOOG figurine sold out completely). Now my personal review: I couldn't be happier with every detail of this fine set. It's obvious that a lot of time and care was taken to ensure it was a top-quality release. In fact, the word "meticulous" comes to mind. Something to note about the CD though; it is not a full-length collection, it's a 5-track EP, and only 2 of those tracks are 'previously unreleased.' Total time is less than 25 minutes, I think. But it's very cool to have Scott's famous "Powerhouse" open the disc, and then moves into fascinating recordings of Scott himself describing and demonstrating 3 of the historic electronic instruments that he invented. If you are a fan of Raymond Scott, this set is highly, highly recommended.
