We ordered a large and it fits like a small/medium abd the skirt tie is short in back as wellThe top that is included in this costume is very small. It is more like a size sm/med than a true large. The skirt/bottom part is true to size and is accurate but not the blouse.Sizing is very off. The large says it is a child size 12-14. My child is in a 10, and the shirt does not fit her! It is super wide and stretchy at the top, but it tapers inward towards the bottom and is almost impossible to get over her shoulders. It is an adorable costume and a great price, so I am keeping it. I am having to open the side seams and add fabric so it will fit.My daughter is 5'4 about 120 pounds in 4th grade. The blue bottom fell about 2 inches above the knee and had an elastic band so it worked. The top was super duper tiny it would even get down her underarms. We just substituted last minute with a tshirt it didn't look so bad. Great price super cute looked super cute at her recitalI have to sew lots of material into the new top. We ordered the biggest size, my daughter wears a youth large normally. The top is nowhere near fitting. My son, who is only a size 7 tried on the large and couldn't get it on. All of the other parts are fine, but the size of the top is nowhere near large. I even checked the tag to see if they had sent us the wrong size top, and its not.For a "large" costume, the skirt, apron and hat fit the bill. However, I ordered two costumes for a school play and the tops in both run extremely small on both. I tried it on two different young ladies with different builds, and neither could squeeze into the top. The skirt is cut much larger and will work out fine. If the child fits into the shirt, the skirt will probably hang on them. For the price, I am going to keep it for the parts that work and supplement a cute top on my own. Would have preferred to get everything in this package.I bought a large even though my daughter usually wears a medium, thinking the costume might run small, and the blouse was still way too small to wear. I had to split it up the back and sew ties to it to be wearable. Also, the lack of the yarn wig and stockings shown was a big disappointment.Ordered a sz large for my 10 year old, who wears sz 10, weighs 80 lbs. she could not even get the shirt over her shoulders, or the apron around her waist. It is like a sz 6. The dress part fits perfect, which is so weird!Le quedo muy bien a mi hija
