My daughter has collected every movie based Princess doll that is available as a "Barbie" type doll. This is by far the most cheaply made of them all. She received both the Maleficent doll and this doll, based on the recent movie, for her birthday. The Maleficent character doll was purchased in a toy store and it is beautiful. It seems like a much nicer doll.The version of Aurora that was received via online purchase has a manufacturing flaw on its neck. The side of her neck and shoulder area has a flaw in the plastic that looks hazy-white and feels rough. Grant it, if it had been purchased in a store I would have been able to select a different doll without the flaw. But at the same time, the manufacturer's quality control should have pulled this doll before it ever made it out the door and available to consumers.I didn't notice it thru packaging. And my daughter didn't tell me about it until all of the packaging was long gone. So she just has to live with it.I had to exchange this doll due to the packaging of the doll. It looked like it was opened and then resealed and if you’re a collector this isn’t good. The replacement doll was better but still had some issues with the box.The doll is very pretty and resembles the actress that portrays her in the recent film. Her carefully constructed blue dress is adorned with glittering embroidery and other attractive details. I am sure any little girl would enjoy combing her beautiful long blonde hair, and collectors would be pleased to show her off in her well designed box. Aurora's face is innocent and sweet, which compared to the rather ferocious, although beautiful, features of the Maleficent doll, contrast very well.Her dress , face, and hair are beautiful. I feel like her body could have been made better. Her L\legs do not bend at the knee so I wish a stand had been included. Other than that she is lovely. It was a gift for my 6 year old and she loved it!!Pretty doll. Seems a little fragile feeling but her dress and shoes are beautiful and my daughter loves her!my granddaughter just loves the doll and plays with it and her little friends in her doll house, thank youMy seven year old daughter received this doll for a birthday present after we saw the movie. She loves the doll. Not sure about the quality of the doll or dress but she loves it.Beautiful and such a well made doll. So detailed and her dress is seems so much nicer than the average barbie clothes.
