Got Barbie for my collector daughter of Barbie. She loved it and places it out for Christmas every year.Great gift for daughter. Having twins, I try to get them different dolls for variety. Nobody cares about the year- just that it's a gorgeous Barbie! I got this one and a 2020 one and personally this one's dress is much nicer. If the kids want to save them in the packaging as they're beginning to get into collector's items, it's their choice. Just happy a decent price was offered here for this 2015 Barbie.The picture doesn't do this doll justice. It is absolutely more beautiful in person. I bought this to add to my daughter's collection of barbie dolls b/c this is the year she was born. She loves this doll and thinks it is gorgeous. Holiday Barbie 2015 arrived in perfect condition. The box was in excellent condition. This doll was purchased to present as a gift to a young cousin and I will be proud to give it to her. I did some comparison shopping and the price of the doll was very fair.Geez the quality of a Barbie doll has changed since I was a kid (I was a kid in the seventies). The legs don't bend! The arms are frozen permanently bent in one position so if she "sits" her legs stick straight out.This is a really pretty doll, the clothes are beautiful, but it doesn't have the "play potential" of the original Barbie dolls. I got it as a gift to put in a Samaritan's purse Christmas box, but I feel like this doll is just meant to be looked at, not played with.I gave this 2015 barbie a 5 star review because I LOVE this barbie. However, the box she came in was slightly damaged, and there was a tear n the top of the box. I would be more particular about that if I were a serious collector, but this is just for a personal and fun collection I have started for my daughter who was born in 2013.- I purchased this with my own money and did not receive any sort of discount.
