I collect paper dolls & this book is the most irreverent & refreshing thing in my collection. The hard-cover book (!) includes:* Auntie Mary, the motorcycling hostess with 3 different outfits* Tom, clearly modeled on Tom Tierney himself, with 3 outfits* Lady Clarissa Paddlefoote-Smythe, a snooty-looking blonde with 4 outfits* Toni Trumaine, a glamorous, leggy movie star with 2 gowns, a biking outfit, & a little leather mistress ensemble* Larry, a hairdresser ballet aficionado with four outfits including a pea coat with a huge, furry collar* Harry, a truck driver covered in neck to foot body hair, with a couple very butch Castro Clone outfits & an apron that offers "Taste It and See!"* Wayne, a chubby, bespectacled soap opera writer with a white suit & spectator shoes, a caftan, & a biking outfit (at this point in the book you realize almost everyone is going to have their own version of Auntie Mary's biking outfit)* Penny, a tall, skinny, bespectacled children's book editor with 4 outfits* Terry, Rick, Bruce, & Danny- four hunky prostitutes in jock straps with costumes to become a farmer, mechanic, construction worker, & cowboy respectively* Vic, a jack-of-all-trades with a robe, painting costume, country singer shirt, & of course a biking ensem* Irving, a chubby, bald drag queen with lingerie, a gown, a fur, & a blonde bouffant* Duncan Phunk, a neurosurgeon with a gray suit, biking ensem natch, & three colorful outfits with a sort of Beatles-glam rock-hippy feel to them* Jolie "Dahling" (nobody knows her real last name), a party planner with a gown, a dress, *biking outfit*, & some weird hats* Chuck, a rich decorator with a shaky chihuahua & a penchant for capes. His chihuahua has its own cape. And its own biking jacket.* Len, a dirty old millionaire with five outfits including a captain's costume* Rickie, Len's boy toy, with seven outfits, including a sailor's costume* George, an advertising director who looks like a clean-cut character from a 50s Disney movie, with five outfits including fifties-style casual wear & a smart dress coat with umbrella* Sheree Shortmahn, a blonde bombshell who apparently used to be a boy, with three glamorous, feminine outfits & the required biker gear* Theopholus Metropolis- possibly my favorite paper doll body ever. He's got skinny legs, an out-of-shape torso stuffed into a man girdle, a face like a monkey, body hair in all the wrong places, and even undressed he's clutching a drink & a cigar in his diamond-studded hands. He's a Greek tycoon & comes with three outfits including a schleppy tuxedo.* Malcolm, an African-American waiter with five outfits, including cutoff jeans & a shirt tied in the front.* Dickie, a pompous-looking bodybuilder with a whole page of posing shorts.* Sammy, a drag queen with Barbara, Liza, & Marilyn looks.* Matthew, a hairy, bald priest in a towel with his biker outfit, his priestly clothes, & a fairly explicit bondage slave costume* Lance, a swishy model with 5 outfits including a big straw hat & short shorts* Buck, a blond ex-footballer with 3 outfits including conservative country club wear* Carl, a slighly hippy-looking drug dealer with 3 outfits* Georgie, a buff, blond motorcycle mechanic with biker & cowboy costumes, complete with branding iron & whip* Randy Bottoms, a young grunge clothing designer in cutoff overalls, facial scruff, & a backwards baseball cap* Ali-Jamali-Jamali, a very tall & thin basketball player with 4 outfits* General Ike Howell, a Colin Powell lookalike with biker outfit (the t-shirt on this one reads "Grovel"), military uniform, & leather mistress drag* Rocky Rhodes, Howell's chief staffer, with cutoffs, fatigues, & another explicit bondage slave costume* Yo-Play, a Ru-Paul lookalike with two flashy schoolgirl costumes & one glamour gown* Jack Michaelson, a Michael Jackson lookalike with 3 Michael Jackson costumes* Lollie, a fashion editor with 6 showy outfits including a fur coat & big sunglasses which end up looking great on all kinds of paper dolls* Juno Feeney, a Janet Reno lookalike with 4 outfits including tennis costume & the requisite biker costume with a t-shirt that I'm just not gonna tell you what it says here* Bruce & Bruce with tuxedo & bridal gown for their drag wedding* Tony & Ed, upscale gift shop owners & the "bridesmaids" for the wedding* And, finally an image of an apartment all set for the party is printed on the inside covers.
