Monster High Freaky Fusion Lagoonafire Doll for Kids Collection

Lagoonafire is the result of the fusion of Lagoona Blue (Daughter of a Sea Monster) and Jinafire Long (Daughter of a Chinese Dragon). Lagoona and Jinafire are both well-loved Monster High characters, so Lagoonafire is an outstanding fusion with several elements of each ghoul’s traits shining through. This doll has Jinafire’s dragon scaling on her body, her long dragon tail, well defined eyebrows, slit pupils and love of fashion. She has Lagoona’s arm and leg fins, freckles, webbed hands, finned ears, and sweet expressive face. Lagoonafire’s skin is the palest shade of blue gray and is covered with a gold luster that shines in certain lighting. Lagoonafire’s fins and the flared part of her tail are all a shade of metallic gold. She has yellow and green eyes, coral and gold eye makeup, and her lips are painted a bright shade of coral. Lagoonafire’s hair is bright easter egg yellow and chartreuse with some unique styling.Lagoonafire has some amazing accessories. My favorite is her large fluorescent pink jellyfish handbag – definitely one of the coolest handbags I have ever seen a MH character tote around. Her next prominent accessory is her elaborate coral colored headdress. The headdress covers most of the top of her head and encompasses a large piece of her hair that has been styled into a large (chartreuse) victory roll. I can’t decide what this headdress is all about. I’m not sure if it is some kind of kraken or mermaid gear – it has tentacle like appendages and what looks like pearl netting – this thing is just crazy. Lagoonafire is wearing a bright coral colored top with a high collar and some black net detail on the sleeves. Her mini skirt is black with a red and turquoise floating jellyfish print and green net detail. She has hot pink heels to match her handbag and a large golden Jinafire inspired belt that covers her entire midriff. There is something bold and bright to look at on every part of this unique doll.According to her bio – Lagoonafire is attempting to bring together her fire and water elements and this is presenting something of a challenge – but you would never know it by looking at her. This doll comes with a diary detailing the ghoul’s adventures while fused together. She also comes with a bright yellow doll stand and hairbrush.I really wanted to replace my daughter dolll back because someone destroyed hers. It's as beautiful as The one she had. It was described exactly like said and price really good!!!I like collecting unique dolls, and the MH dolls are all very unique and special. So far I have at least 20 of these MH Dolls and, I love each and every one of them. I also have the first version of Lagoona and Jinafire dolls, both are very lovely dolls. Bu,t when I saw Lagoonafire, I had to have her. She is a beautiful combo of both Lagoona and Jina. Her lovely blue skin and gold fins set her apart, but to me what sold me, was her eyes, and her yellow~green hair. I just thought that this doll was so pretty. Now I'm on the look~out for Slo~Mo, and Cleoli. These dolls look great to. To the adult MH collector I'm as guilty as the rest, have to have my MH doll fix.My daughter loves the Monster High Dolls, and continues to collect and play with them. She has somewhere upwards of 75 plus dolls, then she has pets, bedding, lighting, clocks, clothing (A LOT), jewelry, wall stickers and she is still going. She also is learnig to except people as equals, no matter what color their skin is or if the are disabled in any way shape or form. She is learning that all people have fellings and not to hurt them for how they look or speak, Monster High dolls have helped my daughter to be a better person and to help others less fortunate than her to have a better life also. So as log as she keeps helping others, behaving and excelling in school I say forward we go.Another Perfectly done Freaky Fusion Doll! There are no other dolls of any type that can match the crazy that goes into the monster high doll line, and especially the Freaky Fusion ones. I have this one and the Clawdeen/Venus and I go round and round with which one is the more insanely perfect! In any case- as a collector this one is a must have. You just have to really see it to believe it. A beautiful doll! Who thinks these things up!I received Lagoonafire today, and literally ripped open the Amazon box, revealing a beautiful doll for my collection. Her jellyfish purse is just too cute, but to me it looks like the top is a Chinese lantern. On the bottom of her dress, it is black with pink and blue jellyfish, with 2 small bits of turquoise fishnet fabric on each of her her hips. Her blonde hair has chunks of green chlorine coloring it. Her arm and leg fins are golden, the same as the frills of her tail. Her skin is grayish blue, and her lips a bright magenta. This doll is an excellent edition to my ever growing collection.Purchased Lagoonafire as a gift and it was $10 cheaper here at Amazon than my local Walmart and because I am a Prime member I received it in only two days!That said, I wish these Monster High girls wore skirts a little longer. My daughter thankfully isn't a Monster High lover because I know her dad and I would be having some issue with the clothes these girls wear. Although some Barbie outfits have the same issue.My package arrived 2 days before it was supposed to, and was in nearly perfect condition! The only issue was her tail kept falling out. An easy fix, and a great deal for the price!I bought these for my daughter, who is a doll fanatic, for her birthday. Really pleased with the quality of them, their knees, elbows and wrists bend with ease and don't feel like they will drop to bits. They have some lovely little detail on them, like removable earrings. Can't go wrong with the price, great value for money.These dolls are well made and we have quite a collection of them growing in our house! My daughter loves this ones hair the most out of all of them she says!
